Final Thoughts
At the beginning of the semester, I was not exactly sure what kind of class this was going to be or what I was even going to gain from it. I had not worked with most of these different technologies before, so I really learned a lot this semester. There have been some intimidating/challenging assignments, such as the desktop movie, hypermedia assignment, and webquest, but I have really enjoyed learning about them. Dr. Kormos explains the assignments and paces the class very well, so personally I never felt overwhelmed with anything.
I have learned numerous valuable skills in this class. I think part of being an effective teacher is being able to adapt to different learning technologies and be able to incorporate them into teaching. There are so many different methods to teach students in a fun, interactive, and engaging way. I will definitely be taking what I learned in this class to my future classroom!
